Dhanurasana or bow pose is a complete Yoga Asana that helps to strengthen the back and abdominal muscles. The health benefits may include enhancing blood circulation, adjusting hunched back and body posture, managing diabetes, digestive ailments and chest ailments, etc.
Dhanurasana exerts tremendous pressure on the abdomen. It helps release gas from the stomach and relieves constipation and dyspepsia (indigestion).
